When his mother dies, leaving him nothing but debt and her '53 Oldsmobile, Lenny Freeman (Jim O'Heir, Parks and Recreation) is compelled to hit the road, chase his dream to Vegas, and audition for The Monte Guy Show's annual "Stand-Up Stand-Off." Along the way (and against his better judgment), Lenny picks up a mysterious hitchhiker and his trip quickly spirals from bad to worse.
When Lenny tries his act at an open mic night on his way to the big time, a dispute with a heckler leads to murder. With a dead body now in his trunk, Lenny and Hitch are on the run.
As the body count continues to pile up, Lenny tries to free himself from his psychotic partner and escape to Vegas with the girl of his dreams. But Hitch won't shake so easily. They've got a contract. Not to mention the fact that all the blood and bodies are having a strange side effect on Lenny—his comedy is improving.
As time runs out and the law closes in, things spiral toward a brutal conclusion in this dark comedy of misfortune and mayhem.
