Amber, an anxious outsider determined to prove she has finally gotten her life together, reluctantly joins her friend Jill at a game night that is secretly a surprise birthday party. Almost immediately, an awkward bathroom encounter with the birthday boy puts Amber on the wrong side of a group of strangers. What begins as a minor social mishap quickly spirals into a night of misunderstandings, shifting loyalties, and disastrous attempts to make things right. As every effort to explain herself only seems to worsen the situation, Amber is forced to confront the possibility that everyone’s worst assumptions about her may be coming true. Blending cringe comedy, social anxiety, and escalating chaos, SURPRISE follows one woman’s fight to hold onto her dignity when a party turns into something far stranger, darker, and more dangerous than anyone expected.
